Cheryl Bennett, CMA, has worked at Piedmont Orthopedics since 2001. She assists patients with scheduling surgery and oversees the office.
“I love being able to help our patients in any way I can,” Cheryl says. “Whether it is assisting them with surgery, an appointment or insurance questions, I like to be in a position to make their lives a little easier.”
A child of military parents, Cheryl lived in many places during her childhood, but most of her family is from the Colfax/Kernersville area. Cheryl received her degree in medical assisting from Guilford Technical Community College in 2001 and earned national certification as a medical assistant. She has been a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants and the North Carolina Society of Medical Assistants since 2001.
Cheryl and her husband, Matthew, have one daughter, Hannah. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys reading, going to the movies and family activities, including watching her daughter participate in Upward Sports at First Baptist Church in Summerfield.
